About Me
Welcome everyone. Ographix is my small little web design and web development company. My name is Patrick Ortiz and I live in a very small city by the name of Denver, Colorado. My specialties are in Front End web development with some good old fashion skills in graphic design. This site is simple, but displays my skills.
I will share a bit of my professional experience so you can get a idea of my skills. I have had the privilege of working for some big name companies. I started with an internship for Photobucket and learned so much from them. Such as, how to create a Google Map and display exif data from a digital camera on that map. After my internship with Photobucket, I got an internship that turned in to a 3 month contract for Quark.
This brings me to my current professional work experience. I work for one of the largest web design companies in Colorado called Madwire Media. I am currently one of the developers on the maintenance team. We work in all types of CMS platforms from Wordpress, Big Commerce eStores and much more.
I have plenty of experience in html, html5, css, css3 and jQuery. I also have experience with PHP and JavaScript inside Zend Framework. Take a look around! If you would like me to build you a totally wicked site, please send me a email below. I'd be happy to work with you.

Ographix Version 2 was my old version of my portfolio site. I wanted a simple signal page site with some beat features on it.
I wanted to display all types of my work from print, web and photo manipulation.

Timberthreads

Timberthreads is a site I developed for a small t-shirt company I started with a friend. I wanted to create a splash page with a jQuery timer and social networking widgets.
With the main site still under construction, building the site was a good way to get a sample of what was to come.
